Adventure is at the heart of all of our events at Tiger Bay Training.  Whether you join us for a couple of hours driving a RIB or luxury yacht at sea, enjoy one of our fantastic BBQs or take part in a multi-day RIB expedition, we guarantee that our spirit of adventure will invigorate and inspire.

Our adventures take place aboard top specification RIBs (rigid inflatable boats), often described as the 4 x 4s of the sea, luxury yachts and Thundercats.  Why RIBs?  Because they're fast, very safe in a range of weather conditions, and above all, amazing fun to drive.

We've taken a hard look at what we can offer, with 'adventurous fun' being our core principal, and have come up with what we believe is the most exciting range of waterbased activities available in the UK today.

The RIB Adventure Join our expert skippers on your very own RIB Adventure. Kit up and head into Cardiff Bay for a high-speed blast, then exit the Bay via the impressive sea-locks, a fantastic experience in itself. Pilot carefully out to sea where you get to drive one of our high-powered RIBs along the coast and, if the weather allows, out to the nature reserve islands of Flatholm and Steepholm. Not just any old RIB ride, we get to stop, enjoy snacks onboard (hot soup, soft drinks and nibbles) and take some pics before taking an exhilarating high-speed trip back to Cardiff Bay. Duration half day (3 hours), ideal numbers 4-12 persons, from £59 per person very special offer price - from only £42 per person.  Thundercat Co-pilot Adventure This 2 hour + event is fast, wet and furious.  Power out into Cardiff Bay with our race-hardened Thundercat pilots and learn the art of the co-pilot, travelling at over 50 miles per hour on the water and pulling some serious Gs in the corners. RIB Night-time Adventure

Put a whole new perspective on things by joining us at dusk for high speed RIB adventure ... in the dark.

Duration 2 hours, ideal numbers 4-12 persons, from only £250 per boat.  That's less than £42 a head based on 6 persons!

Weather dependant? This event runs in most weather except heavy rain when alternative dates will be offered.

Wear clothes suitable for the weather including a waterproof jacket. It is a good idea to bring spare clothes, sunglasses and (sometimes) suncream.

Meet, Eat and RIB Adventure

Hold your meeting at our fantastic facility in Cardiff Marine Village, enjoy a quality buffet with complimentary drinks then head to sea on our perfectly matched RIBS for some water-based adventure. Productive, invigorating, bonding and great fun.

Duration half day, ideal numbers 6-10 persons, from only £300.  That's only £50 a head based on 6 persons!

Weather dependant? This event runs in most weather except heavy rain when alternative dates for the RIB part of the event will be offered.

Wear clothes suitable for the weather including a waterproof jacket. It is a good idea to bring spare clothes, sunglasses and (sometimes) suncream.
